  • Change Your Gear Oil
It is so hard to justify spending money on maintaining your truck huh? And yes, Alex was driving this around in his 1987 Blazer for quite a while. Believe it or not it never broke....
  • G80 Locker Parts
In Case You Were Wondering What Was Inside Of A G-80....

  • G80 Locker Parts
This was the root cause of the G80 locker failure. The thrust block split in half and took everything out with it.
  • G80 Locker Parts Trailrepair
Not The Ideal Situation But It Did Get Us Home....Late. We Removed The 2 Pinion Gears And Drove Home In 4x4
  • G80 Locker Parts Fixed
We Took A Used Open Carrier And Installed A New Spider Gear Set. Total Cost For The Repairs Was Around $35.
  • Missing Ujoint
Heavy right foot and a little misplaced traction caused this. I saw sparks flying when it happened
  • Missing Ujoint Found
The Cross itself was not damaged at all. We think that one of the caps got spit out and hit the lower ball joint.
  • XJ Shredded U Joint
  • Tranny Demise
This time from an 86 Camry. Scott sure knows how to break tranny's! The pinion pin broke into 3 pieces and the spiders along with one side gear flew out.
  • Tranny Demise
    Wallowed out carrier.
  • Tranny Hole
Something from the differential got wedged between the carrier and the housing and punched a nice hole through the housing.
  • Tranny Hole
  • Stripped Mainshaft Splines
I dedicate this picture to the misinformed employees of Jeff's Bronco Graveyard who adamantly refuse to believe that mainshaft's don't strip out. Here ya go guys.
  • Bent Tie Rod
This is from a 99 Ranger. Some jackass at an apartment complex caused a bent tie-rod along with some body damage as they ran into the parked truck. They didn't leave a note but they left us some yellow paint...

  • Busted Grill
It was time for a new grill anyway.

  • Gashed Radiator
Even the radiator took a beating. Unbelievably, it doesn't leak.
  • Headlight
    What's left of the headlight.
  • Ice Thickness
All this carnage from a sheet of ice.
  • Input Cone
This is what I found when I pulled the tranny out. The sleeve broke, ground down and reasembled as is. Not sure what the previous owner was thinking.
  • NP205 Input
NP 435 mainshaft lined up with the NP 205 input.
  • Smashed Steering Stabilizer
The piston is completely seized. That would explain why it was getting a little hard to steer.
