MODIFYING THE HMMWV RIMS AND INSTALLING 39.5" IROKS
OFFROAD OVERSTOCK 2" WHEEL SPACERS
This is what the HMMWV beadlock looks like after you cut off the run flat portion. I used a sawzall with a Lennox blade. The I finished up the cuts with a 80Grit Flap Disk.
It fits inside the tire much easier then before.
Hee is the pile of scrap left over after all of the cutting and grinding.
I put in 2,000 20gram pellets in each tire. Rides smooth all the way up to 85Mph.
All assembled. You might have noticed that these are not IROK's. I bought them a few days after these pics were taken.
These are from Offroad Overstock. They were in stock and shipped fast. There was a slight problem with 2 of them, but the owner took care of it right away, no questions asked.
